Stab! Stab! Stab! is a Pennsylvania band
that has some potential. But, to be perfectly honest,
their five song CD, "Stabracadabra," didn't do too much for me.
There's some good musical moments here and there, which
is why I think they have some potential. However, for
the most part, the vocal style is what kills it
for me...and, really, do you consider screaming
at the top of your lungs an actual style? Their
music, I'd say they're a combination of metal,
punk and hardcore. They've got a very raw sound,
which isn't always a bad thing. But, in this case,
I think they would be much better if they fine
tuned their sound a bit. Just my opinion. Also,
they seem like a DIY kind of band and, usually,
those who travel down the DIY road work a lot harder
to do what they wanna do. So, I can't...and won't...knock 'em
for that.
You really have to be into this style of music to appreciate
what Stab! Stab! Stab! is doing. So, I think it's safe to
say that they'll only reach a limited amount of people.
