Spotlight - Internal Fear

Internal Fear's four song demo is just that...a demo. The production could be touched up a bit. As it stands now, these songs have a raw sort of feeling to them. That's not to say they're bad because they're not. I'm not quite sure what kind of label you would give this band because, as of this review, I have yet to see them live. So, this is all I have to go on. With that in mind, I would have to classify them as a hard rock band. I dig their style of music...each song is like a story. The two that really stood out for me were "25,000 Dollar Pyramid" and "Manslaughter." "Smile To My Face" is a song that we can all relate to and, to be honest, I could rattle off the names of a band or two as well as some wanna be management teams that I would like to play this song for. Lucky for them, I'll keep it to myself. But, they know who they are and I think a lot of people are starting to see it as well. So, we won't go into it here...at least not right now.

This is a band that I'll be keeping my eye on. I'm curious to see where they go from here. Hopefully, they'll stick with the style of music that's found on this demo. With a good production and a few more songs, Internal Fear should be able to get down to some serious business.
