Wayne Supergenius

Gullifty's Downstairs
C Minus Society

Rotoglow - A Gullifty's favorite and a "scene" favorite, Rotoglow's music is tough to characterize. An extremely tight live band, with exceptional command, their music could fit on Alternative/Modern Rock/Active Rock stations. Passionate and Firey, Retro yet Futuristic. Buds of Wayne Supergenius. Expect afterparty, RV.
Wayne Supergenius - Wayne Supergenius writes the old fashioned kind of song. The big hook, the unforgettable melody, the crafted solo that many who have been sucked into the dreary world of the image conscious have missed. Polished and hooky alt.pop.country. Early Eagles? Buds of Rotoglow.
C Minus Society - ex-Creamsicle, Dingleberry Shortcake, Novelty. Their 2nd show ever? Ask your waitress to sing (she may, they've been practicing). Clever, professional website for a band with one (?) gig under their belt. All-original.

Darcie Miner Band

Gullifty's Downstairs
Tyler Hilton

John Eddie - On the roller coaster of his career so far, John Eddie has had enough big breaks, hard luck, new beginnings, false starts, serious adventure and big fun to inspire a boxed set's worth of country songs. He's had the sort of life - often hard-scrabble, occasionally charmed -- that other artists only imagine, or have someone else write about for them. John has managed to document a lot of this on Who The Hell Is John Eddie?, his debut disc for Lost Highway, along with details of assorted dreams, wishes, romances, and regrets. He really has spent endless days and nights on the road, playing the "shit-hole bars" he so hilariously and accurately recalls. And he's endured the heckling of alcohol-fueled patrons wanting to hear Skynyrd and Petty and demanding to know, Who The Hell Is John Eddie?.
Darcie Miner Band - Influential Philadelphia station WXPN named Darcie one of its Artists to Watch in 2003. Darcie and her band made history by performing on MTV’s Advance Warning as the first unsigned act ever to play in prime-time on the channel. Darcie also made an appearance on the new Star Search, hosted by Arsenio Hall, where she finished second in a controversial decision. The Darcie Miner Band logged in a hectic touring schedule which saw them build a strong regional following along the Atlantic seaboard, opening for the likes of Edwin McCain, Patty Griffin, Heart, Richard Thompson, Jeffrey Gaines, Wyclef Jean, Beth Hart and Jeffrey Gaines. The delightful Darcie is a Gullifty's favorite.
Tyler Hilton - 19 year old troubadour Tyler Hilton's new CD, The Tracks Of, is on Maverick Records. First time at Gullifty's.

Creamsicle - Comprised of Cyndi Martin (Lead Vocals), Kevin Brennen (Guitar), Phil Cannizzaro (Bass), and Jason Parks (Drums/Sequencing), Creamsicle will deliver to all crowds and make sure the clubs will be filled with people drinking, having the time of their lives! Creamsicles covers have been knocking em out in the Hbg area for a while, and some of their earliest shows were at Gullifty's.

Mr. North

The Ben Taylor Band - Iris Records - Concise melody and emotive lyric paves one unique story after another with The Ben Taylor Band's remarkable debut album, Famous Among the Barns. Raised in a musical family (parents are Carly Simon and James Taylor), lead singer/songwriter Ben Taylor was immersed in music from an early age. Taylor explains, "My first memories of music blend in with the rest of my senses. I can remember attending the concerts and studio sessions of every one from Carole King to Foreigner by the time I was 7 years old. Nearly everyone I have ever looked up to and have ever known has been a professional musician."
Mr North - From Dublin, Ireland, now NYC, Mr. North just opened for Puddle of Mudd in NYC at Irving Plaza on 10/30. Hawaii from 11/5 to 11/8. New CD, lifesize, out soon. First time at Gullifty's.

London File

Fast Eddie Jam Band - Fast Eddie is a 6 piece band consisting of a tight thunderous rhythem section of Dave Devonshire, with Mike "thumper" Frentz on bass combined with the of out of control down and dirty guitar work of Micah Simmons and Joshua Thompson, topped off with the angelic backing vocals of Miss Marcy Grubic. As if that were not enough add the OoozeMaster, the out of this world keyboard stylings of Bryan Davis and you can't help but move your body. We love to play folks. Your smiles and spontanious breakdancing makes our world go round.

The delightful Darcie is a Gullifty's favorite.
The Mayan Factor - Competently constructing a dreamy soundscape of variable textures, tempos and emotions, and then packaging them all together as intricately layered prog-rock, The Mayan Factor's "In Lake 'Ch" is a true indie gem. Catering to the darker senses of progressive melancholy ala Tool and dredg, while also harboring a distinct modern rock flair, this MD based outfit have a seemingly limitless appeal to their sound. As such their music is more than capable of enlisting a variety of different listeners within their fan base, especially those who would not often stand side by side.
The Drive Home Explosive Original Rock Music - well versed in the contemporary emo style of things. Talented, with great hooks, this Messiah college based band can draw quite a crowd. Perhaps soon to graduate to headliner status.

Bridges And A Bottle

Gullifty's Downstairs
Carbondale

Bridges and a Bottle - A great drawing band at Gullifty's, part Jam Band, part Pearl Jam, part Goo Goo Dolls / Matchbox 20. 2 lead singers. From the immediate area (many members of Bridges graduated from the nearby Cedar Cliff HS), they have played / booked shows in Cleveland (at Beachland, with the Carlsonics) and Philly (at Troc Balcony and North Star). Likely going places.
Carbondale - Random Facts: CD Release date was 11/25 (yesterday), Jared of Carbondale appears in Pete Yorn's "Crystal Village" video. Carbondale on Italian TV RAI! Carbondale was orginally from NEPA, then moved to NYC, was on RCA earlier this year, now isn't. A lot of buzz about them.

The Badlees

The Badlees - The Badlees, the highly prolific Pennsylvania rock quintet is, first and foremost, a group of fine songwriters and storytellers. Their songs are often highly descriptive and narrative tales crafted through the scope of both observation and imagination. The Badlees are a big Gullifty's favorite, and this show will likely be packed.
