The Underwater
|

Machina
|
|
The Underwater
- Dan and Matt of Local Rock Superheroes The Underwater play an acoustic set.
Machina
- MACHINA is a new generation of intricate, multilayered rock; a melodic blend of alternative post-grunge fused with new metal.
Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, MACHINA is comprised of members from the bands
FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD (vocalist - Phil Taylor),
EVANESCENCE (guitarist - John LeCompt) and
MOURNINGSIDE (guitarist - Jack Wiese), with Thad Ables on bass.
MACHINA is equal parts hard-driving rock with ethereal, electronic edge.
It’s heavily influenced by Taylor’s penchant for 90s metal, and LeCompt’s love for grunge
and experimental rock. With the combination of their ecclectic styles—Rocky’s pulsing beats,
and Taylor’s Staley-esque vocals—the result creates a hybrid of alternative metal that is yet-to-be-heard.

The Clarks

Sons of William
|

Neil McClain
|
The Clarks
- The Clarks are an unprecedented rock phenomenon in their hometown of Pittsburgh, where
the rock 'n' roll quartet regularly performs for crowds of 8,000 or more and where their
last record outsold many of today's biggest music acts. With five studio albums and countless
live performances to their credit, The Clarks share the kind of musical shorthand only a band
of near-brothers can know. Their top-notch musicianship and songwriting are clearly evident on
their new CD, Another Happy Ending, the band's second for Razor & Tie.
Sons of William
- Two brothers who are looking for a band name choose the name Sons of William in
honor of their father, Bill, who has been the main musical influence in their lives.
It's perfect. But it doesn't just stop at the name. The songs are tight, the music is
beautiful, and the performance is flawless. Whether they take after their old man or not,
these kids have their jobs down to a science. The band proudly wears its influences on their sleeves,
as aspects of blues and classic rock shine through the music. At the same time, a modern feel gives
Sons of William the appeal they need to rise above their influences (sorry, Dad) and form their own unique voice.

Hoots & Hellmouth
|
|
|
Hoots & Hellmouth
- Philadelphia-based Hoots & Hellmouth (MAD Dragon Records/Ryko/WEA) embodies a feisty,
independent spirit churning out new music for old souls. Their shows are like traveling
tent revivals; their audiences are like congregations. And while the emphasis has always
been on the live experience, H&H's eponymous debut studio album (April 24, 2007) is shaping
up to be one hell of an adventure. Since their inception, Hoots & Hellmouth have been on a mighty roll.
Their travels have taken them all over the Northeastern region as well as down South for several runs.
Their 2006 Philadelphia Folk Fest appearance was a watershed moment for the group, exposing them to
thousands of enthusiastic folk aficionados, lifting onlookers to a frenzy and earning them a
standing ovation. During an appearance at WXPN's "All About the Music Festival" (featuring
Citizen Cope, Josh Ritter, My Morning Jacket, Grace Potter, Amos Lee, among others), a dozen
audience members jumped the stage to join the band, stomping, singing and clapping along on
their closing song, "This Hand Is a Mighty Hand" – one of the more "live" tracks on the
soon to be released record.

The Luv Gods
|
|
|
The Luv Gods
- We started playing way back in 2003. For those of you that can't count, thats
a few years ago. We're all veteran players. Some of us even know each other.
We're having fun playing, entertaining you and earning every cover charge.
In return you entertain us by smiling, dancing and keeping most of your body
parts in your clothes. There's some things we tolerate, like telling us what
to play. Then there's some things we won't tolerate, like telling us how to
play it. We'll take care of that end. Featuring Shea & Steve Zero from the Sharks.

|

Red Room
|

Darcie Miner
|
|
Red Room
- Red Room is a rock band that is made up of four dedicated and talented musicians from Mechanicsburg, PA.
Their energetic, diverse, original music always leaves audiences wanting more. They are definitely a must see.
Darcie Miner
- New CD release (Fragile). Influential Philadelphia station WXPN named Darcie one of its Artists to Watch.
Darcie and her band made history by performing on MTV’s Advance Warning as the first
unsigned act ever to play in prime-time on the channel. Darcie also made an appearance
on the new Star Search, hosted by Arsenio Hall, where she finished second in a controversial decision.
The Darcie Miner Band logged in a hectic touring schedule which saw them build a strong regional
following along the Atlantic seaboard, opening for the likes of Edwin McCain, Patty Griffin, Heart,
Richard Thompson, Jeffrey Gaines, Wyclef Jean, Beth Hart and Jeffrey Gaines. The delightful Darcie
is a Gullifty's favorite.

Deja Vudoo
|

Dahli
|

Serving the Industry
|
Deja Vudoo
- Part hard rock, part alternative, part gothic, all original... Deja' Vudoo is a female-fronted
band from Harrisburg, PA, whose music projects a raw and infectious energy that takes first-time listeners
by surprise. Deja' Vudoo's music is heavy and infectious, the lyrics are insightful and often graphic,
speaking of the horrors of the human animal.
Dahli
- Dahli is a combination of wasted time and endless nights without food, water or masturbation.
Dahli is also Ben Stewart of Hierosonic.
Serving The Industry
- Hard hitting, memorable modern rock covers and original music is what Serving
the Industry is all about. If melodic vocals over driving guitar, bass, and drums is
your type of music then Serving the Industry is your type of band. Experience, energy
& heartfelt stage performances allow Serving the Industry to live up to its name.
Give the crowd what it wants… a great show!

City Sleeps
(Trustkill Records)

Torn From Red
|

The Drama Club
|

A Utopian Skyline
|
City Sleeps
- "From Atlanta, new CD "Not An Angel"
just out October 9, 2007 on Trustkill Records.
They aren't Hardcore though, but Alternative Rock. 1st single "Prototype" is getting airplay.
Hopefully "Not An Angel" (presumably the 2nd single) gets a solid radio push, even to Top 40,
that's a fantastic song, better IMHO than Prototype. Bros with The Underwater, they've toured with
them a lot. Jeff (ex bassist of The Underwater) was in City Sleeps before The Underwater. Adriel will
make a great Producer." Jim Lott - PA Rocks
The Drama Club
- Now that their album's completed, former LIFER vocalist Nick Coyle and the rest of The
Drama Club have been touring the region playing clubs and various one-off dates with acts like
Breaking Benjamin (Hollywood), FlyLeaf (J), and Sound The Alarm (Geffen). They were recently
featured on PureVolume.com, and voted the #1 unsigned "rock band" and can be regularly heard
on 97x fm (Wilkes-Barre). "The Drama Club is one of the most requested bands we play on 97.9X
"Underground", amazing music and very dynamic captivating frontman - Zoey 97X (WBSX, Scranton, PA).
A Utopian Skyline
- Recent CD Elmamoore. "A Utopian Skyline is freaking awesome. They’re a metal band for people who don’t like metal;
a hardcore band for people who are scared of hardcore; and a prog-rock band for people who would
rather drink toilet water than listen to Rush. They are proof that art, angst and amplification
are not mutually exclusive concepts. ... Labeling A Utopian Skyline is kind of futile. The band
skips around from math-rock rhythms to hardcore grooves to unapologetic metal riffage with such
blinding speed that any label you slap on them - “prog-rock,” “emo,” “metal” - will only apply
for about 30 seconds." Jeff Royer - Fly Magazine
Torn From Red
- A "no-covers" band, Torn From Red entertains with a stage presence and show that
makes you just want to stop, watch and listen! Their sophomore EP - Heart Beat -
contains some of their most marketable music to date. The track "We all Die Young"
was chosen by the band to be their first music video and it's due out in October of 2007.
As Mike, Brett, Matt and Nate work to move their music from a local to regional and national level,
new songs are always in process and they're drawing strength from the support of their loyal fan base.
It's a show you won't want to miss!
