Highway Hi-Fi

Lotus Blue - Sounds Like Jimmy Eat World, Filter... sounds like no-one really, different but very cool. With ex Mad Revere and Rats from the Bay. Revere in the house.
Pistola Amore - Jimmy Bedorf's new band.
Highway Hi-Fi - Highway Hi-Fi started in the summer of 2002 when singer / song writer and guitarist Jeremy Stoltz ran into up-right bassist, Jeff Beck at a record store in Lancaster. Jeremy had just finished a long stint with Lancaster's popular rock n' rollers "The Bad Luck Charms" while Jeff was playing in a lesser known band called "The Sleepers". Fueled by their passion and mutual love for chicago blues, rockabilly, punk rock and of course ROCK N' ROLL, the duo began writing original music they called Punk Blues. Rounding out the band would be drummer and back up vocalist, Dave Spink who at the time, was also playing in The Sleepers.

Settle

Espenshade - we are just 3 normal guys that want to play the type of music that we've been looking for but just can't seem to find. we'll rock you silly on one song then lull you to sleep with the next. we basically set out to keep ourselves entertained and we just ended up entertaining others as well. some people say we sound like braid and mock orange you can judge for yourself.
Ghost in the System - Ghost In The System became the band it is today with the addition of Gabrielle in January, 2005. The founding members, however, had been working together strenuously and arduously for the better part of two years. This time was spent writing songs, arranging and re-writing songs, jamming, and generally honing their collective chops. The result was a sound that is at the same time tight and melodic, sometimes violent yet often ethereal.
With the inclusion of Gabby and her warm, airy vocalizations, Ghost In The System appeared on the scene as... well, as you might expect a ghost would. A couple of entertaining open mic nights later and with rallied support from friends and family, the band took to the stages at relatively larger venues, playing with such acts as Bo Bim, Brave the Day, and Lotus Blue, as well as an earned slot at the Millenium Music Conference.

Settle - Comprised of four musicians, several stringed instruments, a couple of synths, some drums, a practice space and raw natural talent is where settle has molded a unique sound that's danceable, fun, heartfelt, energetic and rich with passion and motion. If it's not the vocal strength exhibited almost effortlessly from singer/keyboard/bass player Mike Pizarro that initially draws you into the groups pulsating sonic aura, then perhaps it's Dave Goletz's eloquent guitar crunch or his tight pants.

Krescent 4 fuses progressive metal with alternative rock for a modern sound that is the pulse of today's music. It's a hard-rocking combination that evokes the artistry of Soundgarden, The Cult, Nickelback, Helmet, Tool, and Mudhoney. Krescent 4 is a dexterous and inventive creative force founded on musical expertise and enterprising song-craft. Krescent 4 strikes the ideal balance between brains and brawn. Maria Forgotten - From their inception in 2002 as an acoustic rock duo to the current incarnation, Maria Forgotten has turned heads all along the road. Soaring vocals and effortless guitar work layer smoothly over solid rhythms and punching bass lines. Without being too cliche, the songs of Maria Forgotten stike a chord with their listeners. "We write what we know," says vocalist Ryan Gottshall. "We just want to be honest about what we have, and are, going through in our lives." Guitarist Andrew Shank: "It's about anger and resentment, desire and happiness. It's about everything everyone goes through."

The Green Onions - There is a fresh, yet somewhat familiar sound soaring through the cow-filled pastures of Lancaster County. It is the sound of The Green Onions. In these times of flashy musicians, gimmick-based songwriting, and the all too common, "I hate my life," rock bands, The Green Onions are offering an alternative. This band wants to create music for the sake of creating music. Be prepared for hard rocking guitar solos, sturdy song sections, and free-flowing jams.

Condition K - Central Pa's modern rock foursome, Condition K, provide a brilliant combination of contemplative lyrics, captivating vocals and unmatched musicianship. Founded in 2003, Condition K was assembled by members of some of Pennsylvania's most influential bands (Julian Fist, 3Star, Stereo Logic). The band made an immediate impact and quickly became a force in today's Mid-Atlantic rock scene. The band's main influences range from classic rock bands such as The Doors and Led Zeppelin to the modern rock sounds of bands such as Stone Temple Pilots and Fuel.
Welbilt - Shortly after Welbilt formed in early 2002, Washington, DC radio station DC 101 singled out the band as the most promising independent in the region on the strength of blistering live performances and a self-produced EP with a contagious brand of upbeat modern rock. Next: a string of high-profile shows and national awards, a year of touring before an expanding fan base, and recording sessions in Los Angeles with platinum-selling producer Mudrock (Godsmack, Chimaira). The resulting full-length debut, A Beautiful Mess, was released in December 2003 to a big thumbs-up from fans and critics. "Impressive songwriting...convincing vocals...sonically vibrant" raved the Washington Post saying "Welbilt delivers on its promise." Fans loved the new tunes, instantly accessible yet built to stand up over time.
RedRoom - Red Room is a rock band that is made up of four dedicated and talented musicians from Mechanicsburg, PA. Their energetic, diverse, original music always leaves audiences wanting more. They are definitely a must see. Buds with the delightful Darcie Miner.

The Summer Set - The Summer Set™ is the newest alternative rock act out of Central Pennsylvania. They mix many genres of music to come up with a complete new style and sound not heard from any other band out there. They originally formed as a punk band back in November '04 ,and after many lineup changes, have evolved over the past months into a cross of alternative/rock style music. Look for them in venues such as The Champion Ship (Lemoyne, PA) and Gullifty's (Camp Hill, PA) in upcoming months.

The Luv Gods - We started playing way back in 2003. For those of you that can't count, thats a few years ago. We're all veteran players. Some of us even know each other. We're having fun playing, entertaining you and earning every cover charge. In return you entertain us by smiling, dancing and keeping most of your body parts in your clothes. There's some things we tolerate, like telling us what to play. Then there's some things we won't tolerate, like telling us how to play it. We'll take care of that end.

A Love Like Pi

Lotus Blue - Lotus Blue is a rock quartet from deep in the heart of central Pennsylvania. While being compared to Jimmy Eat World, Chevelle and Filter, each member has an individual style that adds to a new original creation of rock madness. All members have been performing for years in various other bands (Mad Revere, Reno Fontaine, Rats from the Bay) and have finally joined forces to form the culmination of everything that rocks, known as Lotus Blue. Experience true blue.
Oddzar - Oddzar is a band that formed in the year of the Golden Dragon. We strive to make something different...something that we enjoy. Something thought-out, but not overthought. Something emotional, but not forced. We hail tribute to our influences, and to hope to influence others. Sounds Like Oddzar, Tool, Deftones, Dredg, Sunny Day Real Estate, Glassjaw, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, along with various others. . . .and no one. . .all at once.
A Love Like Pi - "Rare in our scene is the band that can write creative, compelling, and sophisticated music, and even rarer is the one that can take that sonic vision and execute it with both precision and finesse. A Love Like Pi is one of these rare bands. As a music reviewer, I’m sent a lot of music—most of which is utter garbage. Thus, it is an absolute delight to find a band such as A Love Like Pi: a group that writes not only refreshing music, but sees to it that their work is represented accurately by means of a professional recording (quality production is not to be taken for granted, I’ve learned). A Love Like Pi’s self-titled three song EP is a fantastic progressive, electronic-tinged emo debut that will undoubtedly turn many heads..." -ABSOLUTEPUNK.NET
