Love Stomp

Love Stomp - Love Stomp is a modern rock cover band based in Harrisburg, Pa. Greg and Amy are currently in an acoustic duo called Tangerine Orange. They still play as Tangerine Orange in the local area and have now expanded the acoustic duo to the four piece band Love Stomp. Love Stomp features one of Harrisburg's best kept secrets, Amy on lead vocal. With her incredible voice and exciting stage presence she is something you will want to check out. Backing Amy is a band of three exceptional musicians who have played in the local area in numerous bands. Love Stomp will be also working on orginal material in the near future. Mix it all together and you have something that is special and something we call Love Stomp.
Saturday, September 4
Lead Foot - featuring Dave Johnston from Bon Fuhrer. Dave/Davey/Tommy is a Gullifty's favorite. Expect rockin' covers from the '70s & 80's, perhaps including Ram Jam's "Black Betty".

The Green Onions

Herbie

The Green Onions - There is a fresh, yet somewhat familiar sound soaring through the cow-filled pastures of Lancaster County. It is the sound of The Green Onions. In these times of flashy musicians, gimmick-based songwriting, and the all too common, "I hate my life," rock bands, The Green Onions are offering an alternative. This band wants to create music for the sake of creating music. Be prepared for hard rocking guitar solos, sturdy song sections, and free-flowing jams.
Herbie - herbie, known for its magical blend of high-energy rock, uptown funk, infectious jams, and heart pounding hip-hop beats, formed in the fall of 2000. The music of herbie is catchy enough to sing along with, groovy enough to dance to, diverse enough to please even the most demanding music fan, and offers a truly unique balance of melody, accessibility, and musicality.

Kamikaze Zero - PUNK! or Knife Rock. Just toured with Cheap Sex, the bass player (Paul) used to be in the Virus, good stuff.

The Jellybricks - Longtime heroes of the Harrisburg Power-Pop scene, The Jellybricks have a long list of accomplishments, including opening for Live at Hershey Stadium, multiple performances in Los Angeles at International Pop Overthrow and opening slots for Goo Goo Dolls, 10,000 Maniacs, Seven Mary Three, Sponge, Fuel, Luscious Jackson, Better Than Ezra, The Badlees, They Might Be Giants. Quality.
New Invisible Joy - Named Pittsburgh’s Best Local Unsigned Band by Citysearch.com; New Invisible Joy has opened for several national acts and artists including: John Mayer, The Strokes, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Exies, The Calling, Flickerstick, Audiovent, Filter, Dave Navarro, and Hoobastank. National festivals they’ve played include: SurgeFest in Pittsburgh, PA at the Post-Gazette Pavilion; X-Fest in Pittsburgh, PA; Locobazooka at the Fairgrounds in Altamont, NY (InsideSessions.com Showcase); and Toronto’s North by NorthEast Music Conference where reviewers from Chart magazine’s chartattack.com called their performance “sheer gratification” with a “contagious attitude that was immediately picked up by the crowd … Excellent … Wow.” Played mainstage at the MMC a couple of years back. Good, good band.
Holis - One of the most profound acts to emerge out of Harrisburg in years. The group's music presents a more pop/rock oriented version of Staind crossed with the thoughtful, stark melodies reminiscent of Live and 3 Doors Down.

No Show Ponies

The Badlees - The Badlees, the highly prolific Pennsylvania rock quintet is, first and foremost, a group of fine songwriters and storytellers. Their songs are often highly descriptive and narrative tales crafted through the scope of both observation and imagination. The Badlees are a big Gullifty's favorite, and this show will likely be packed (especially with BAAB opening - a sellout possible).
Bridges And A Bottle - In a time when most bar owners are struggling to get even 100 people to show up for a truly “all original band”, a true shining star has finally arrived. Exploding out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and adding an exciting new sound to the music scene is an incredibly hot new band by the name of Bridges and a Bottle, also known as BAAB. Bridges and a Bottle is what resulted when six close friends combined their musical talents in the Summer of 2003. The members are inspired by groups like the Beatles and Coldplay. At the core of the band are the two lead singers and brothers: Justin Smith, 24, and Adam Smith, 20. The songs written and sung by Justin reveal a sound similar to Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. Adam’s songs are reminiscent of Nirvana and Oasis. The brother’s vocals are the same in that they convey deep, raw emotion. Both singers pull their lyrics from life, but whereas one leaves certain topics up for interpretation, the other paints a vivid visual of the situation. The differences and similarities of the band members combine to form the eclectic sound of Bridges and a Bottle.
No Show Ponies - No Show Ponies is an exciting rock n roll band from Harrisburg PA. The band was originally formed as an acoustic duo by brothers Jeff and Ben Brown while they were living in Morgantown, West Virginia. Originally including the rhythm section of Jason and Jordan Shover, the band now features drummer Jason Jones, guitarist Greg Koons, and recently added member bassist Dan Ruscito.

Rombis

RedRoom - Red Room is a rock band that is made up of four dedicated and talented musicians from Mechanicsburg, PA. Their energetic, diverse, original music always leaves audiences wanting more. They are definitely a must see. Buds with the delightful Darcie Miner.
Rombis - "Rombis carries a "white boy funk/ rock 'n roll" sound, similar to an Eric Clapton/Jimmy Hendrix classic rock/blues-oriented genre. In other words, "There are a lot of classic rock elements in the structure of the songs," explains Peterson, "and there's also a lot of jazz and Latin influences." Sets include a mix of covers and originals from their self-titled CD." Fly Magazine
