Jerry Joseph & the Jackmormons
|
|
|
Jerry Joseph & the Jackmormons
- Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons integrate excitement and expressiveness,
thoughtfulness and thrust, poetry and pure power. The varying material
from Mouthful of Copper ranges from: the hard driving and deep lyrical
content of "The Jump", the radio friendly "I Know There's a Darkness",
the Americana soundscape of "Thistle", the bouncy reggae of "Electra Glide in Blue"
(incidentally, written before Robert Blake was arrested), the punk rock aggressiveness
of "Bright Young Thing", the towering ferocity of "Climb to Safety" where Joseph
recounts the facets of heroin addiction, the tender "Tanker" where the singer
compares a fading love to a Japanese tanker sinking, the fury and passion of
"Soda Man", the sensitive pop of "She's Going Out" that explodes into a bombastic
guitar exploration, to the classic rock epic of "Savage Garden", and "Hallelujah
Trail", the beautiful set closer.

Ninetail
|

From Dissension
|

Malicious Disorder
|
Ninetail
- In a world where American Idols and cookie-cutter pop-rock bands rule the
airwaves, its easy to overlook the recent resurgence of metal music. Despite
the tireless efforts of bands like Chaimara, God Forbid, Killswitch Engage &
many more, the fight to restore metal to its rightful place atop the music
industry has been lacking a vital component... ENTER NINETAIL, THE NEXT BIG
THING IN METAL! With a level of forcefulness and brutality that has yet to
be experienced by the metal masses, Ninetail promises not only to join in the
fight for metal supremacy, but more importantly to win the war!
From Dissension
- The bands do-it-yourself attitude and bludgeoning live performance has
lead to a solid fan base. You can catch the band tearing it up at clubs and
bars across the state. From Dissension combines sheer brutality with hints of
melody which equates to a sound that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Crushing riffs laced with dark lyrics are sure to turn heads.
Malicious Disorder
- Malicious Disorder: The old school shit that everyone got crazy and partied to
back in the day in addition to a sense of grind that spawned from early Death Metal.
These styles combine with a current drive to slam with the cult of Metalheads
swirling in the scene today. Malicious Disorder started as Malice 420
in San Diego as a bunch of drunken Marines trying to blow up the
Southern California Metal Scene. After a line-up change, the 420 stoners
are now based out of Central PA thrashing harder and faster than they ever
have before. Eight months of sweat, beer, and being locked away in a garage,
the band jumped back into the scene and started killing it as hard as they can.
Having redeveloped their sound the band has been tearing roofs off bars
and venues throughout Central PA and neighboring North Eastern States.
They have also made their way to the Midwest and played the Milwaukee
Metal Fest in 2004. Malicious Disorder plans to continue their
onslaught of thrash and grind to Metalheads and heavy scenes everywhere.

Martini Bros
|

The Tombs
|
|
Martini Bros
- for the past eleven years Deuce Gibb, Mike Mead, Rej Troup and Chad Matson
have taken us on one hell of a ride. after only three practices, they recorded
their first demo with Steve Ward and proceeded to open for "LIVE" in hersheypark
stadium to a crowd of 17,000 screaming fans. playing a medley of rockabilly, surf
and garage music, they became the "buzz band" of '95. Two years later they
suffered the tragic, accidental death of their drummer and founding member,
Chad Matson, but were determined to prevail with one consistent thought: to
play great rock n' roll. Since then, the martini bros have played with Reverend
Horton Heat, Dick Dale, Hank Williams III, Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats, and
Johnny Winter, just to name a few. they've collaborated with national recording
artist, Jeffrey Gaines, and have played coast-to-coast: from new york city to
los angeles, nashville to the jersey shore, roof tops to trains, and riverboats
to nearly every bar in Central PA.
The Tombs
- The Tombs, bastard love child of AC/DC, Ramones, or Dead Boys (a paternity
test hasn't been performed yet), were born in a crappy Baltimore basement
in 2002. Hitting puberty early and armed with guitars and drums, they were
destined for the wayward path of Rock and Roll.
