Holis
- Formed in 2002, by singer Raymond Zeiters and guitarist Frank Mistretta.
The two wrote music and performed at small venues. After several attempts at
finding a second guitarist, they set their sights on keyboardist Christian McGinty.
After a brief hiatus, the three recorded an acoustic demo with producer Fred Pellegrini.
They are now in the studio with the full band, including drummer Kenny Reiner and
recent bassist Jeremy White. Also featured is Fred Pellegrini. Holis will be playing
few select shows while they finish recording their debut album.
Release date is scheduled for Spring '06.
Grandview
- Grandview is a four piece rock ensemble out of Carlisle, PA. Since their start
in the Fall of 2000, Grandview has honed their sound and have been playing shows
in the surrounding South Central Pennsylvania region. They’ve been busy promoting
their debut album, Life Under the Sun, by playing festivals and shows with bands
such as Andrew W.K., P.O.D., Brandston, MXPX, Further Seems Forever, and
The Juliana Theory. Life Under the Sun was released in September 2004
both regionally and internationally through iTunes, iTunes Europe,
iTunes UK, iTunes Canada, Napster, as well as in the North East Region
in select Barnes and Noble stores.
Whisper
- Nearly twelve years ago, an adolescent Anthony Reigle picked up his
first guitar. After months of chord progressions, lyrical experimentation,
and finding his voice, one of Anthony's most personal songs, "Orphan"
was born in an effort to create something positive out of a troubled
childhood. Anthony was introduced to bassist Jason Gruber through
a friend of his manager in 2004 and they began adapting his acoustic
work to fit a full band. Shortly thereafter they added the influence
of drummer Dustin Lawrence, and Whisper was born. "They became
very interested in my music and decided they wanted to be a part
of it," Anthony says of the band's inception. "It's amazing how
well we meshed. It's not like I was out there trying to put a
band together... it just sort of... happened." Anthony
had all but decided to stick to a solo career, but the
chemistry of the trio was too good to pass up. Whisper
is now putting the finishing touches on a demo, and
recording their debut album after being on hiatus
for a few months for the holidays and the birth
of Anthony's son, Kieran. The album is mix of older
songs written by Anthony such as "Orphan" and "Outside the Door"
and his newest material, including "Transformation" and "Underneath the Moon."

Maria Forgotten
|

Dark Lit Skies
|

The Thrives
|
Maria Forgotten
- From their inception in 2002 as an acoustic rock duo to the current incarnation,
Maria Forgotten has turned heads all along the road. Soaring vocals and effortless guitar
work layer smoothly over solid rhythms and punching bass lines. Without being too cliche,
the songs of Maria Forgotten stike a chord with their listeners. "We write what we know,"
says vocalist Ryan Gottshall. "We just want to be honest about what we have, and are,
going through in our lives." Guitarist Andrew Shank: "It's about anger and resentment,
desire and happiness. It's about everything everyone goes through."
Dark Lit Skies
- Dark Lit Skies is an explosive, high energy rock band out of Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania. The band was formed in January 2006. All of the members bring
great experience to the table, playing with several other popular bands
in the past.
The Thrives
- The Thrives can best be described as an indy-power-pop trio clearly
influenced by the music of the 80’s and 90’s. The three members, David Kemper,
John Bolling and Brad Stackpole started playing together back in 1995 in a band
only slightly known in the Harrisburg area called Lunarshade. After a few years
of other projects or lack there-of, they have become musically reacquainted.
Kemper as singer, song writer and rythm guitar player understands the power
of a pithy word simply attached to a catchy melody. His visual descriptions
of love and relationship are earthy, sensual, unique and somehow universal.
Listen for the dynamic juxtoposition between sweet melodies wrapped around
yearning lyrics and breakthrough declarations of tongue-in-cheek-angst-ridden-imperfection.
John Bolling's relaxed and consistent bass playing is backed up by years of listening to the
great bands from across the pond. Fans have learned to watch for his sheepish smile as he
gets wrapped up in the joy of performing. Finally, there is the famous Brad Stackpole on
drums. He has sat in with quite a few local groups from Deviation Theory to his recent
project with A Utopian Skyline (formerly The Midnight Drive), along with his valued
participation with The Thrives. Brad’s influences are the most diverse of the group.
He is more than accomplished at playing Latin, Jazz, Rock and Metal in addition to
other styles.

A Utopian Skyline
|

Pistola Amore
|

Not Alone
|
A Utopian Skyline
- "A Utopian Skyline is freaking awesome. They’re a metal band for people
who don’t like metal; a hardcore band for people who are scared of hardcore;
and a prog-rock band for people who would rather drink toilet water than listen
to Rush. They are proof that art, angst and amplification are not mutually
exclusive concepts. ... Labeling A Utopian Skyline is kind of futile. The
band skips around from math-rock rhythms to hardcore grooves to unapologetic
metal riffage with such blinding speed that any label you slap on them -
“prog-rock,” “emo,” “metal” - will only apply for about 30 seconds."
Jeff Royer - Fly Magazine
Pistola Amore
- This is about a group of friends who like to drink and write rock songs,
and on occasion, they like to take the carnival to other cities and play.
just sit back, open up a whiskey bottle and enjoy the soundscapes. That is
Pistola Amore!
Not Alone
- The driving soul that propels Not Alone is Tyler and Eric Schock.
Their contagious sound, fervent stage presence and youthful appeal combine
to drive the very foundation upon which this band ROCKS. And ROCK they do.
This bands guitar-driven modern sound is decisively anchored on the rock of
the greatest classic gods to ever swing an axe and peppered by the inspiration
of their most notable offspring.

Outta Line

My Autumn Fire
|

7 Days Torn
|
Outta Line
- Formed in July of 2005, Outta Line has set out to bring original rock music
back to Northeast Pennsylvania. After only three months the band cut its first
full length album, "Welcome To Reality", with twelve intense songs of many
different genres. "Welcome To Reality" sold over a thousand copies in the
first two months of its release. It was reviewed with a five star rating by
not only fans but journalists alike. With riveting songs such as "Insecure"
and "Inside the Box" the album quickly became known around the area to bring
the band a broad fan base of all ages.
My Autumn Fire
- When a band's hipster image and sonic bombast lose their impact, what's left?
The songs. My Autumn Fire isn't out to reinvent the wheel or lay claim to any titles
like "hardest," "fastest" or "wildest" band in the land. Not at all. Formed in late
2005, this band's nucleus of Jay Juranis (vocals/guitar) and Jeremy Haag (guitar)
is focused on crafting memorable songs steeped in musical traditions ranging from
'70 arena rock supergroups to gut-punching punk and radio-friendly pop.
7 Days Torn
- 7 Days Torn (7DT) stands as a formidable presence redefining the boundaries
of music in today's modern world. The band derives its powerful assembly from
deep within the foundations of their souls. Through the exhale of harmonic vocals,
rich riffs, and ground breaking grooves, they command energy and touch the listener
with genuine sentiment.

Lotus Blue

Settle
|

Once Romanced
|
Lotus Blue
- Lotus Blue is a rock quartet from deep in the heart of central Pennsylvania.
While being compared to Jimmy Eat World, Chevelle and Filter, each member has an
individual style that adds to a new original creation of rock madness. All members
have been performing for years in various other bands (Mad Revere, Reno Fontaine,
Rats from the Bay) and have finally joined forces to form the culmination of
everything that rocks, known as Lotus Blue. Experience true blue.
Settle
- Comprised of four musicians, several stringed instruments, a couple of synths,
some drums, a practice space and raw natural talent is where settle has molded a
unique sound that's danceable, fun, heartfelt, energetic and rich with passion
and motion. If it's not the vocal strength exhibited almost effortlessly from
singer/keyboard/bass player Mike Pizarro that initially draws you into the
groups pulsating sonic aura, then perhaps it's Dave Goletz's eloquent guitar
crunch or his tight pants.
Once Romanced
- Once romanced has everything you want to hear. They've concentrated on making
music that people will enjoy listening to, just as much as they love to play it.
Heavily influenced by the likes of radiohead, death cab and Bjork, Once Romanced
has been turning heads. They are currently completing their 2006 demo which will
be available for everyone soon. Come check out this premiere band at any of their
shows, you will definately leave with a new appreciation for music!!!
