Teenage Girls (10)
|

The Lebowskis (11)
|
|
Teenage Girls
- TG is a fury of pure pop bliss on and off stage --engaging audiences
like no other band in America, signed or unsigned.
Teenage Girls is pretty much exactly what you think it is. But better.
And more likely to make you ashamed if your wife finds out...
Sounds Like Morrissey fronting The Cars with Eric Bachmann on guitar.
The Lebowskis
- The Lebowskis formed in August of 2004. Since that time we have
played many local shows, been on tour and released a CD. In April
we are going to the studio to record some songs for a 4 band 12
inch split that will be pressed and released by Cheapskate
Records, a New York based label. As of now, it will contain
The Prozacs, Johnie 3, The Vapids, and The Lebowskis.
So keep your ears open, trust me, it will rock.
Also, in May we will be taking a weekend to play in Ontario,
Canada with The Vapids, the reigning kings of Ramones Core.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy our music.

The Suburban Sound (10)
|

Zelazowa (11)
|
|
The Suburban Sound
- The Suburban Sound brings back the old school sound of rock. Blending classic rock influences with a modern sound, the band can only be classified by one genre. Rock and roll. For fans of true rock only. Except no substitutes.
Zelazowa
-
Born and bred in the basements of Philadelphia, zelazowa is intense, rebellious rock.
It was early 2000 when this quartet of childhood friends began performing together,
and since then they have grown to create a sound that is
entirely their own, combining raw, punk-fused energy with towering vocal lines.
Recruiting Lou Gonzalez (Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix) and Stuart White
of Quad Studios in Manhattan, zelazowa was able to capture the raw
intensity that encompasses the band's live shows.
Chris Athens (Coldplay) of Sterling Sound then lent his mastering touch,
and sent the group off with his seal of approval. The resulting album,
entitled "Rest Easy," has since won zelazowa an opening slot for
Jimmy Chamberlin Complex (Smashing Pumpkins) on May 3rd in Philadelphia,
and earned them a Northeast/Mid-Atlantic radio campaign starting May 30th.

The Green Onions
|
|
|
The Green Onions
- There is a fresh, yet somewhat familiar sound soaring through the cow-filled pastures of Lancaster County. It is the sound of The Green Onions. In these times of flashy musicians, gimmick-based songwriting, and the all too common, "I hate my life," rock bands, The Green Onions are offering an alternative. This band wants to create music for the sake of creating music. Be prepared for hard rocking guitar solos, sturdy song sections, and free-flowing jams.

Rectifier
|
|
|
Rectifier
- Vocalist Mitch Taylor, guitarist Scott Michajluk, bassist Troy Lehman,
(all 3 ex Julian Fist) and drummer Tony Kirchner deliver the goods with power,
passion and purity. This is a musical feast that rises above the cookie-cutter
rockers that pollute today’s mainstream. “We are all about the song,”
says Michajluk. “ We don’t care about the flavor of the week. It’s
all about writing good music that touches anyone who hears our
album or sees a live performance. We’re not necessarily
different and we are not trying to recreate the wheel,
just shake it up a bit.”

Tim Kaye (10)
|

Lotus Blue (11)
|
|
Tim Kaye
- Tim Kaye is the MacGyver of modern music. Whether it be a microphone, a piano, a guitar, a paper clip... Tim Kaye will make the best of what he's got to deliver a heartfelt performance. (Eclectic "outsider music" born and bred in Baltimore.)
Lotus Blue
- Sounds Like Jimmy Eat World, Filter... sounds like no-one really, different but very cool.
With ex Mad Revere and Rats from the Bay. Revere in the house.

The Underwater
- Absolutely fantastic band from York/Harrisburg, PA. Compared to Muse,
The Juliana Theory, Placebo, Cave-In, Foo Fighters, Filter, Hoobastank,
Thrice. Emotional, melodic guitar rock. "THE UNDERWATER could
easily become one of rock's brightest stars as "Bleed Me Blue"
contains some exceptional moments." Smother.net Yup, they

South Shore Movement
|
|
|
South Shore Movement
- South Shore Movement began performing on January 1st, 2000. Most of
its members had met while studying music at Five Towns College.
Although deeply rooted in the fundamentals of Jazz, they have incorporated
various cultural sounds to create something quite original.
South Shore Movement's debut cd, Signs was released in July of 2003...
... and there is plenty more to come!
Tonight, with Nate Kruis of Quagmire Swim Team on bass.

Slaughterhouse Blues
|
|
|
Slaughterhouse Blues
- "Slaughterhouse Blues, out of Harrisburg, PA, concentrates on meat-and-potatoes
grooves on their self-titled disc - rock ("I Don't Know"), shuffles
("The Redder You Are"), and dangerous West Side blues ("Money"), with
a stop-temp tune ("Combover Blues"), a Latin arrangement ("Might Not
Be the Blues"), and funk ("Right Back in the Blues") added for interest.
Tony Formica's vocals are hearty, Jason Suter's guitar work keeps the
three piece sound solid (check the seamless shifts on "Baby, Baby, Baby"),
and the rhythm section rocks. Perfect for a club band." - Blues Revue Magazine
