Tuesdays - Texas Hold'm Poker 7:30pm cash prize - then Open Mic
Grantham Road
- There actually is a street named Grantham Road . It’s in Mechanicsburg , PA
where singer/guitarist/songwriter Flint Zeigler spent many summers listening to the music of Neil Young,
Tom Petty and Blue Rodeo. Throw in some other diverse influences from Nirvana to Son Volt to
Hank Williams, and you get an idea of where this band is coming from - rootsy rock from a
singer/songwriter perspective, but with less twang and a bit more production. The new album,
Parade , was produced by Jeff Feltenberger (x- Badlees) and is available now.
Plus 3
- Based out of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the rootsy modern-rock band Plus 3 was
formed in 2000 and immediately started working on original material. Just
three months after getting together, the prolific group unveiled its first EP,
"happy little accidents," which contained the track "I Won't Be Around" - a song
chosen as a Top-10 finalist in a nationwide poll for inclusion in a Hollywood
Pictures film. In 2003, the band released the critically-acclaimed "Bad Math,"
an eclectic mix of radio-ready gems that helped the group gain regional airplay
and led to it being voted Northeastern Pennsylvania's "Best Original Band."
Critics praised the band's musicianship, songwriting and vocal talents and
described "Bad Math" as one of the year's best albums and "a strong collection
of straight-ahead roots-rock anchored by a fine sense of melody and crafty
lyrics." Enter "Late Nights and Lost Causes," the group's highly-anticipated
second full-length album which hit record stores in March 2005 and is garnering
radio airplay and more critical praise. The 11-song CD - which features the soaring,
soulful and uplifting rocker "Get Up," the romantic and thoughtful "Meteors," the
Stones-esque "Retrace Your Steps" and the melodic and pop-infected "Nerve" -
clearly shows a group that continues to grow as songwriters and musicians.
Featuring lead vocals from three members and songwriting contributions from
everyone in the band, "Late Nights and Lost Causes" reveals a band that
is ready for a national audience.

Luv Gods

|
The Luv Gods
- We started playing way back in 2003. For those of you that can't count,
thats a few years ago. We're all veteran players. Some of us even know each other.
We're having fun playing, entertaining you and earning every cover charge. In return
you entertain us by smiling, dancing and keeping most of your body parts in your clothes.
There's some things we tolerate, like telling us what to play. Then there's some things we
won't tolerate, like telling us how to play it. We'll take care of that end.
Featuring Shea & Steve Zero from the Sharks.

Stamper Lumber
|
HotWingJones
- If you like good-looking young men singing like women, this is NOT the band for you.
If you want some good old fashioned house-rockin, earth-shakin, air conditioner-breakin rock
(give or take a little roll), then you have stumbled into the right place!
HotWingJones was formed in the basement in a secret government lab from leftover genetic
material that has yet to be identified. Relocating from said lab to Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania, the band grew its extra legs playing in the shadow of Three Mile Island.
HotWingJones completed their first recording at Saturation Acres, a studio noted for
its superb production of up and coming artists. The band plays throughout south central
Pennsylvania, with an occasional foray into the coal mining regions of Schuykill County.
HotWingJones was voted Simply the Best Band in Harrisburg in 2004 and 2005 by the readers of Harrisburg Magazine.
Bret Alexander
- Ex-Badlees, also now in The Cellarbirds.
His solo stuff sounds like Springsteen and Johnny Cash. The Cellarbirds
sound like Tom Petty and Paul Westerberg with some Beatles in there.
Stamper Lumber
- Stamper Lumber was founded by cousins, Hank (lead guitar and vocals) and
Joe Ben (rhythm guitar) Stamper who hale from Wakonda Oregon. Sometimes they
come upon a great notion, like taking up guitars in middle age. Inspired by the
Merry Pranksters, they left their jobs in the family logging company for busking
further on up the road. Busted flat and waiting for a train, Moan (bass and keyboards)
thumbed the bus down one night before it rained. Walking in the
park just the other day, they found Elgin (drums) packing his bags for the
misty mountains. Aiming to make Shakey proud, their music pays tribute to
the legends of shuffle style blues and the masters of three chord rock &
roll.

Altercana
- With guitars that can punch a hole in the gut of Americana to fragile melodies
that brush past the sleeve of Alternative, Altercana is more than a dynamic band.
This is a band that knows emotion; from raw rockers to lonesome two-steps, no one
leaves an Altercana show without feeling like they've taken a big bite of middle America.
This is the sound of Uncle Tupelo and the Jayhawks climbing over the shoulders of Bob Mould
and Tom Petty. This is the sound of last call. Its' the sound of the open highway.

Jefferson Pepper
- Jefferson Pepper has been writing heartfelt songs for over twenty years; classic, quirky,
difficult-to-define, earthy, socially-conscious songs deeply rooted in the working-class
America in which he developed his art. Growing up in the Bible Belt, blue collar suburbs
of south-central Pennsylvania was a perfect incubator for his tunes about isolation, loss,
the inevitable finality of existence, the changing socioeconomic landscape of
America and other lighthearted topics.
