Overlook

London File - London File hails from the great college town of Shippensburg, PA. The band prides itself on creating thought provoking and stimulating musical experiences. London File possesses a versatile repertoire of original songs which are dynamically showcased during every outing. With each show, London File's audience is treated to improvisation and exhilaration... the spontaneity of the moment shapes all of London File's shows.
Overlook - Overlook is the product of the artistic endeavors of local musicians Billy Roach, Timmy Roach, Fran Camardella, and Zack Boden. The band was formerly known as Tingler under the helm of the Roach brothers, and produced dreamy, melodic songs filled with emotion and lyrical strength. Now as Overlook, these attributes remain, and are now fortified with the edgy cuttings of Camardella's guitar and the smooth foundations of Boden's bass. Finally merged with Billy's soaring falsettos and Timmy's percussive precision, what you hear is an overlook of here, there, and everywhere in between.

Catch em here while you still can.
Electric Candy Shop - Everyone who experiences the music of Electric Candy Shop can tell you that their music will take you through an emotional spin cycle of relationships and the human condition. The music, coupled with their high-energy stage performance, brings the audience an experience they will not forget.
The Midnight Drive / A Utopian Skyline - formerly known as The Midnight Drive, A Utopian Skyline brings together a fully orchestrated union of alternative, progressive and independent rock. Espenshade - we are just 3 normal guys that want to play the type of music that we've been looking for but just can't seem to find. we'll rock you silly on one song then lull you to sleep with the next. we basically set out to keep ourselves entertained and we just ended up entertaining others as well. some people say we sound like braid and mock orange you can judge for yourself.

Espenshade's been playing indie rock in the Hbg area for a while, and have gotten popular in the all ages scene around here, playing The Why're a lot back in the day and Champion Ship these days.

Darcie also made an appearance on the new Star Search, hosted by Arsenio Hall, where she finished second in a controversial decision. The Darcie Miner Band logged in a hectic touring schedule which saw them build a strong regional following along the Atlantic seaboard, opening for the likes of Edwin McCain, Patty Griffin, Heart, Richard Thompson, Jeffrey Gaines, Wyclef Jean, Beth Hart and Jeffrey Gaines. Rectifier - Vocalist Mitch Taylor, guitarist Scott Michajluk, bassist Troy Lehman, (all 3 ex Julian Fist) and drummer Tony Kirchner deliver the goods with power, passion and purity. This is a musical feast that rises above the cookie-cutter rockers that pollute today’s mainstream. “We are all about the song,” says Michajluk. “ We don’t care about the flavor of the week. It’s all about writing good music that touches anyone who hears our album or sees a live performance. We’re not necessarily different and we are not trying to recreate the wheel, just shake it up a bit.”
Plunge - In 2002 Vocalist / Guitarist Mike Ruocco was asked to join RCA Gold Recording Artists SR-71, whom the band had shared the stage with years earlier. While touring with SR-71 , Plunge recieved an offer from European based label Atenzia Records. After completing their first full-length record, Plunge is anxious to release the record in Europe and looks forward to a United States release in the coming months. The Bluezers

The Bluezers - The BlueZers, recently voted `Simply the Best Band` in the Harrisburg Magazine 2004 Readers Poll, will bring their high energy show to Gullifty's for the first time on Friday, November 12th. Gullifty's is located in the Cedar Cliff Mall off of the New Cumberland exit of I-83. The BlueZers are a Harrisburg, PA-based Rock band with lots of blues influences. The band serves up a blues-infused, rock and roll stew of tunes from Robert Johnson to The Rolling Stones, and from John Lee Hooker to Jimi Hendrix, with about a dozen originals thrown in the mix! Though each band member comes from diverse musical backgrounds, they all share one thing--a love of the blues and the music it inspired, both old and new, in its many forms. If you haven't been lucky enough to catch The BlueZers already, come on out--ease into a chair--sit back--and, have one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer. John Lee would have wanted it that way!

Originating out of Harrisburg, PA, and now relocated to Philadelphia, bravetheday was formed in 1998 by the songwriting team of Josh Kesler and vocalist Rebecca Miller. The current lineup of the band is rounded out by ex-Modus drummer Patrick Garrity and veteran L.A. bassist Ian Boccio. The band has extensive live performance experience, having played shows in and around Harrisburg, Philadelphia and New York, opening for larger name artists like Jonatha Brooke, Dar Williams, Grey Eye Glances and Michelle Branch, and performing live on WXPN. Maintaining a rigorous live performance schedule, Jealousy Curve is fortunate to receive constant invitations for performances at the region’s best venues, having built strong relationships with both talent buyers and other regional touring bands.

In these times of flashy musicians, gimmick-based songwriting, and the all too common, "I hate my life," rock bands, The Green Onions are offering an alternative. This band wants to create music for the sake of creating music. Be prepared for hard rocking guitar solos, sturdy song sections, and free-flowing jams.
Mehlt - MEHLT is a hard-hitting journey through various styles of music with carefree and careful improvisations in rock, jazz, blues, funk, and more. The Clarks - The Clarks are an unprecedented rock phenomenon in their hometown of Pittsburgh, where the rock 'n' roll quartet regularly performs for crowds of 8,000 or more and where their last record outsold many of today's biggest music acts. With five studio albums and countless live performances to their credit, The Clarks share the kind of musical shorthand only a band of near-brothers can know. Their top-notch musicianship and songwriting are clearly evident on their new CD, Another Happy Ending, the band's second for Razor & Tie.
Rosavelt - For The Story Of Gasoline, the band hooked up with artist/producer Don Dixon. At the time they were working as a three-piece following the departure of co-frontman Kevin Grasha. Dixon—who produced memorable records by R.E.M. and the Smithereens—not only fell in love with Rosavelt’s music, he had a vision of what it would take to capture every sweaty bit of the urgency the band exhibited in live performance.

Wayne Supergenius - Wayne Supergenius writes the old fashioned kind of song. The big hook, the unforgettable melody, the crafted solo that many who have been sucked into the dreary world of the image conscious have missed. Or to quote Peter Bothum of Rockpile magazine: "With such a true-blue batch of solid rock songs, timing is irrelevant."
Steve Reso - Honing his skills as a member of several notable 90’s bands such as Underground Cartoons, Reso paid his dues in every smoky, dark club from New Orleans to Dover to NYC. Along the way he developed a sound and style all his own and in the mid 90’s decided to seize the solo spotlight. After a deal with one label fell through, his demo tape landed in the hands of Indian, president of Gig Records. In 2002, the critically acclaimed "Ordinary Life" was released and quickly became a radio standard on the Central PA airwaves. The buzz surrounding the disc soon made its way to the studios of MTV who are currently spinning tracks from "Ordinary Life" on their Real World/Road Rules Challenge Series. The band had the honor of opening for Better Than Ezra recently at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach and have shared the stage with such bands as Fuel, Live, Gene Loves Jezebel and Solution AD.

Martini Bros. - for the past eleven years Deuce Gibb, Mike Mead, Rej Troup and Chad Matson have taken us on one hell of a ride. after only three practices, they recorded their first demo with Steve Ward and proceeded to open for "LIVE" in hersheypark stadium to a crowd of 17,000 screaming fans. playing a medley of rockabilly, surf and garage music, they became the "buzz band" of '95. Two years later they suffered the tragic, accidental death of their drummer and founding member, Chad Matson, but were determined to prevail with one consistent thought: to play great rock n' roll. Since then, the martini bros have played with Reverend Horton Heat, Dick Dale, Hank Williams III, Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats, and Johnny Winter, just to name a few. they've collaborated with national recording artist, Jeffrey Gaines, and have played coast-to-coast: from new york city to los angeles, nashville to the jersey shore, roof tops to trains, and riverboats to nearly every bar in Central PA.

Hierosonic - Hierosonic is an ambient/industrial hybrid rock band with sounds reminiscent of natural worldly sound and gritty mechanical drones mixed with off-beat rhythms. After Hierosonic has fine tuned their sound since getting a new guitarist, more into the Janes Addiction and Primus category. The demented circus feel mixed with a bit of sexual energy. Played Lollapalooza 2003 in Seattle, WA.

They have a real good schedule for the 1st 4 months of 2005. In addition to the local shows, they're playing The Silo (Reading), The Crowbar (State College), CBGS's (NYC), Grape Street Pub (Philly), Jaxx (DC Burbs), 2 in Ohio and 2 in Connecticut, among others.

Anthrophobia - Anthrophobia still exists for a few basic primal reasons: the band are at the top of their game, kicking ass live, have just released their best set of music to date; and most importantly, still enjoy playing and creating music together. After 14 months of writing, demoing, recording, rerecording, mixing and mastering, Anthrophobia have finally released a cd that they feel accurately represents them as a rock entity. Magnetic incorporates inspirations and elements from all of the previous 'phobia catalog, taking experiments and risks within the band's creative walls, as well as pushing them to new limits.
Kamikaze Zero - Knife Rock - which has a distinctly AC/DC hard rock sound but with that modern sound as well. The bass player (Paul) used to be in the Virus. Touring in April, with the Fishnet Stalkers, out to Tennessee, Illinois. They play about half all age venues like Champion Ship, and half in bars. Opening for The Misfits in Baltimore the day after this show.
